Designer turned homesteader tries hand at chicken farming

I would guess most people wear many hats. I know I do! My first twitter profile reads “Christian. Husband. Father. Friend. Designer. Chicken Farmer.” and that is not the half of it.

And as much as we try to segment our life into sections — personal, business, etc. — it cannot be done. At the end of the day we are but one person. Me, Myself and I.

Besides my current day job, some of my duties include parenting our two beautiful girls, building my design business and helping with chores and the never-ending to-do list at Wild Sage Homestead. In addition, I manage several websites, twitter accounts and Facebook pages among other things. And we could go on…

Consolidate

One way we are streamlining processes at home is to consolidate where possible. Why have five websites to update one they could all be one? This might not work for everyone in all circumstances but it works for us and the Wild Sage Network. We are growing and updating slowly, but everything we do from the homestead will happen here.

Relaunch

All that to say my marketing and design business, TWELVE TWO, has re-launched as a section within this site. Find TWELVE TWO by our main address — twelvetwodesign.com — or by the link in the tiny black bar across the top of this page. And remember to watch the Marketing & Design section for related blog posts.

Meanwhile, let me know what you think about some of my work or contact me if you need any helping promoting, growing or launching your business.
