Completely random post but I was just thinking about some great things I love at the moment.
4 Things I’m Loving Right Now
#1 Our Fresh Eggs – Raising chickens is not too hard and a whole lot of fun. We’ve run into pesky predator problems – Aincluding the neighbor’s dog – but all in all, the fresh eggs can’t be beat. Well, they can be if you want to make an incredible omelet. But I think you know what I’m saying…
#2 Teavana – Be it hot or iced, there is nothing like a fresh cup or glass of tea. I am far from a tea snob or connoisseur but I’ve learned a few things lately, such as loose-leaf tea is best. And anything in little bags from the grocery store is bound to be pretty bad. And I believe I have found the perfect tea.
If you’ve never heard of Teavana, do yourself a favor and check out their site. And if you are lucky enough to have a brick and mortar location near you, drop everything and visit now. It’s so much more than a retail store. It’s an experience. (Plus there are lots of freshly-brewed teas on hand to sample!)
Take a look at this video the company has out there. Very well done!
#3 Scentsy – If you’ve poked around this blog lately or read it anytime over the last year, you probably saw a post or two about Scentsy. Jes is an Independent Scentsy Consultant and has done quite well with the business in the past year. I’ve grown to love the products (and the company!) and have done a bit of the behind-the-scents marketing for her.
We didn’t want this blog to be overrun by Scentsy information so we launched HelloScent.com in January.
But it’s a great side business – or could lead to a full-time gig. Hey, we have to pay the homestead bills!
#4 Sausage Balls – So good, as my previous post suggested. I wouldn’t choose these over Teavana, but sausage balls with fresh tea and our fresh eggs? Well, you couldn’t get a more prefect brunch.

I love Teavana! When I worked in Boston I would go there all the time. They had some amazing teas. Only problem I had was that it took so long to brew! And I like pretty much anything with sausage in it
